and why.

What we collect

• Enquiries and reservations. When you use the contact form, the chat panel or a product page's reservation button, we receive the details you type: your name, email address, message, and the silhouette and size you're interested in.
• The mailing list. If you join it, your email address and the page you joined from.
• Analytics — only with your consent. If you choose "Accept all" on the cookie notice, we use Google Analytics (with IP anonymisation) and, when advertising is running, the Meta Pixel, to learn which pages and products people look at and where visitors come from. If you choose "Essential only", none of that loads.
• Server logs. Like every website, our hosting keeps standard access logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.

Why we use it

• To reply to you and to confirm availability, sizing and next steps for a reservation.
• To send you the things you asked for — launches, restocks by size, notes from the atelier — if you joined the list.
• To understand what's working on the site and improve it.
• To keep the site secure and prevent abuse (for example, limiting repeated form submissions).

Cookies

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use two kinds:

• Essential. A single setting that remembers your cookie choice. It contains no personal data and the site cannot respect your choice without it.
• Analytics and advertising (optional). Set by Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel only after you accept them. They identify your browser across visits so that visits can be counted and ads measured. You can decline them, and change your mind at any time using Cookie settings in the footer of every page.

Visitor counting

We count page views ourselves, without cookies and without advertising networks. Each visit records the page path and a one-way hash that changes every day, so we can see how many people came and what they read, but never who they were. This count runs whether or not you accept analytics cookies, because it stores nothing that identifies you.

Live chat

If you use the chat, your name, email and messages are kept in a private transcript so a person from the studio can answer, either in the chat or by email. Transcripts live on our own server, are read only by staff, and are deleted twelve months after the last message.

Accounts

Reserving an order creates a customer account under your email so you can follow the order and keep its receipt. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; sign-in links sent by email work once and expire after 24 hours. You can update your profile at My account or ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information. It is handled by the service providers that run this site for us: our web host (which stores enquiries and the mailing list), our email provider, and — when you accept analytics cookies — Google and Meta, under their own privacy policies. When our online store launches, payment details will be handled directly by the payment processor; we never see or store card numbers.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries and reservations: for as long as needed to handle them and for our records afterwards, up to three years.
• Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
• Analytics data: per Google's and Meta's retention settings, which we keep at their shortest options.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can leave the mailing list at any time. To do any of these, email hello@lifeandfaithclothing.com from the address you used with us and we'll act on it promptly. If you're in the EU, UK or another jurisdiction with data-protection law, you also have the right to complain to your local authority.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new effective date. Significant changes will be mentioned to the mailing list.
